Description
Intrinsically Safe Dual Hearing Protection Headset for Communication in High Noise and Hazardous Environments
Smart Noise Cancelling Communications Headset
SM1P-ExDP / SM1PW-ExDP
Dual protection is often a requirement in many critical working areas where exposures may exceed 95 decibels (dBA), Sensear has integrated our SENS communication capabilities for face-to-face communication and 360° situational awareness into an intrinsically safe dual hearing protection headset series (SM1P-ExDP and SM1PW-ExDP) so users can effectively communicate without removing their hearing protection in these extremely high noise conditions and hazardous environments.
Based on the existing SM1P-Ex headset, and incorporating our unique dual protection feature; the ExDP headset series fills the marketplace need for a high performance intrinsically safe headset for extreme noise environments that require ATEX and IECEx certification. With customer focus and hazardous environments at the forefront of this robust headset design to enhance safety and communications for improved efficiency in high noise and hazardous workplace environments. It’s the perfect solution for your extreme high noise and hazardous environments such as explosive chemicals and fuels as well as combustible powders.
Users of the ExDP series will benefit from communication capabilities and safety features such as:
- Connect to intrinsically safe two-way radios via Bluetooth or via cable
- Connect to intrinsically safe mobile devices (HFP, HSP and A2DP profiles) via Bluetooth®
- ATEX and IECEx approved
- Headset to Headset communication (approx. 50m / 150ft range) via Short Range
- Talk ‘face to face’
- SENS™ Technology (Enhances speech while suppressing background noise to a safe level)
- Programmable Volume Limiter (Limit ‘in-ear’ noise exposure to 82dB)
- Retained 360° situational awareness (Remain aware of surrounding noises and hazards)
- VOX capable
- Built-in rechargeable battery (lithium-ion, 4-hour charge time)
- Rugged and lightweight design
- Up to 31 dB. NRR (noise reduction rating)
- Noise-cancelling boom mic
